I am Nereida Ordovás. I have more than six years experience helping people from all parts of the world find tools to cope with common challenges such as loneliness, motherhood, life changes, identity, loss of values, stress and anxiety.
I am a psychologist specialised in the migration process. After I finished my degree as a Clinical Psychologist in Madrid, Spain, I moved to London, which was my first experience living abroad. Coming to NL to study a master in Human Geography made me realise how valuable mixing my knowledge as a psychologist and my specialisation in Migration and Development could be for people living abroad in The Netherlands.

What else I am? I am a writer, a mindfulness trainer, a mother, and a person who likes to find aspects in everyday life that can bring joy to me and those around me. I am a person who likes to be learning, eternally curious and open to experience. A person just like anybody else, with bad moments too!
I work individually, but mainly in groups because after my accumulated experience I came to realise that one of the most powerful factors contributing to mental health and wellbeing is community. A network of people with whom to be vulnerable, to enjoy and to share experience.
You can check my full education and experience in my LinkedIn page.
Interested in what I write about? Here you can find articles I wrote in Spanish, in Gaceta Holandesa, about the migration process.
